I ventured out of Norfolk for this, and captured some amazing shots for this Suffolk Wedding!

I had been looking forward to this wedding for a few weeks, not even the abysmal weather we had would have stopped the spirit of Shani and Mark.

I met Shani and her bridesmaids at their house in Littleport for bridal preparation, Her MUA and hairdresser kept Shani’s nerves down by talking about the most random things…Jeremy Kyle, Graveyards, and other things which are not suitable for a family blog.  It seemed to work though Shani was a cool as a cucumber.

Champagne flowed and the house became busier and busier as the morning went on! Shani kept her dress a secret from her bridesmaids and Dad and as she walked down the stairs in her full attire there was not a dry eye in the room! (Even I wobbled)

I hurried down to the Church where I met Mark and Coxy (best man) and they were both quietly sitting within the church and managed to grab some formals with them before the ceremony.

The ceremony was Awesome and consisted of readings from two of Shani’s family, which tugged at everyone’s heartstrings as they were beautifully read.

The evening reception was to be held at Bedford Lodge Hotel, Newmarket.

We managed to do the formal group shots outside the hotel as the clouds cleared for twenty minutes and the rain had stopped.

I loved being a part of this wedding and feel so privileged to be Shani and Mark’s Wedding Photographer and would like to congratulate you both again.

I had been looking forward to this wedding since the moment Amy & Matt booked me.

The day started off with myself meeting Amy and all her lovely bridesmaids at her parents’ house in Besthorpe near Attleborough.

The girls were all very calm and helped Amy get ready in a dash, they then finished off their preparations with glasses of Champagne.

I then went into Norwich to meet Matt and his best man Shay in the pub to steady their nerves.

After taking some heartwarming Best Man/Groom shots we ventured down  to Dragon Hall where all the guests had already congregated, and Matt did the formals with the registrar.  At this point I could tell his nerves were kicking in!

Amy arrived with her Dad and bridesmaids, who were all still very calm!  There was nothing that was going to un-nerve those girls!!

Once Amy and Matt were at the front exchanging their vows their wasn’t a dry eye in the house, tears flowed from most of the bridesmaids and Amy’s Mum!

The formal pictures were then taken within the grounds of Dragon Hall, and afterwards Amy, Matt and Myself took a trip over the bridge to Riverside to get some more shots.

We then went off to the  reception which was held in a marquee at  The Barrel in Banham right opposite the Zoo.

Good food and speeches were had by all, which then led into celebrations of the dancing and drinking kind  in to the early hours of the morning…

A great day and night was had by all…

This is the first time that I have done an engagement shoot so close to a couples Wedding day, but it was definitely worth it!

This engagement shoot was supposed to be at the place where Simon proposed (Sea Palling) but unfortunately had to be cancelled twice due to adverse weather conditions.

I sent Sarah a message in the morning to ask if I could pop round to finalise timings etc and suggested that we may be able to squeeze in an engagement shoot at their local river in Wroxham, Norfolk.

I arrived at their house for 5:30 and light was drastically fading so we rushed to broads with only twenty minutes to shoot.

I’m looking forward to attending their wedding this Saturday and wish them the best of  luck for a day they will cherish for years to come.
